Blurb

Bloom Wild Bookshop is a mobile bookshop reimagining how people access books, stories, and the natural world. Through curated literature, California native wildflower seeds, and immersive, place-based programming, we bring storytelling and ecological connection directly into neighborhoods, schools, cultural spaces, and public events.

We create experiences that spark curiosity, conversation, and connection—inviting people to engage with stories, the land, and one another in new ways. At the intersection of literature and ecology, our work expands access to both books and green spaces for communities everywhere.

Bloom Wild Bookshop transforms everyday spaces into sites of discovery, where people can explore diverse voices, learn about native ecosystems, and leave with something meaningful in hand—whether that’s a book, a packet of wildflower seeds, or a new way of seeing the world.

founder’s biography

Aurora is a cultural producer, bookseller, and California native plant advocate, and the founder of Bloom Wild Bookshop—a social enterprise and mobile cultural platform that brings books, storytelling, and ecological learning into public spaces through immersive, place-based programming.

She holds a double B.A. from UCLA and a Master’s in Social Entrepreneurship from the USC Marshall School of Business, where her work focused on developing mission-driven ventures that connect cultural programming with sustainable models for access, engagement, and community impact.

Her professional background spans arts institutions, museums, community organizations, and public agencies across New York and Los Angeles, where she has designed and led public programs, literary initiatives, and cultural activations in partnership with civic and nonprofit partners. Across this work, she has focused on expanding access to diverse voices and creating public-facing experiences that make culture more participatory, accessible, and present in everyday life.

Alongside her cultural work, Aurora maintains a long-standing practice in California native plant gardening, which informs her approach to ecological restoration, care, and place-based design. Through Bloom Wild Bookshop, she integrates literature and ecology to create mobile, accessible experiences that bring communities into direct engagement with books, ideas, and the natural world.
